The quiche (pronounced chisce) is a French cake, generally the base is made of shortcrust pastry, while the filling varies according to taste. There are several quiche recipes, the most famous is Quiche Lorraine, but I was craving spinach tonight, so let's start the spinach quiche recipe.


How to make spinach quiche

Clean the spinach, then steam it for a couple of minutes.

Then sauté them in a pan with a knob of butter and add the salt. Turn off the heat and let it cool.

Mix the milk, eggs, Parmesan, salt and pepper in a bowl.

Roll out a sheet of shortcrust pastry with a thickness of about 3 mm and spread it out on a baking tray covered with parchment paper. Distribute the spinach evenly on the pastry sheet.
Pour the mixture over the spinach.

Fold the dough all around forming a cord. Bake the spinach quiche in a preheated oven and cook at 180 ° for about 30 minutes.

Serve the spinach quiche warm
